I started playing volleyball because I loved the fast pace and the challenge of constantly improving, but it quickly became more than just a sport for me. It became a place where I learned discipline, resilience, and how to show up for something bigger than myself.

What motivates me is growth, getting better every day, even in small ways, and proving to myself that I can push through challenges. As an autistic athlete with ADHD, I’ve had to learn how to navigate high-pressure, fast-paced environments while managing things like overstimulation and communication differences. That’s forced me to develop strong self-awareness, focus, and self-advocacy skills at a young age.

Coaches would describe me as hardworking, coachable, and consistent. I’m the type of player who shows up ready to work, stays locked in, and does the little things that help a team succeed. As a libero, I take pride in being reliable, reading the game well, and staying composed under pressure.

I value team culture a lot. I want to be part of a program where accountability, respect, and inclusion matter, where players are pushed to be their best but also supported as individuals. I’ve experienced environments where that wasn’t always the case, and it’s made me even more intentional about the kind of culture I want to be part of.

Leadership for me isn’t always loud, it’s about consistency, effort, and setting a standard. I lead by example, by working hard, staying focused, and supporting my teammates even in difficult situations.

Academically, I’m very driven and plan to attend a top academic school where I can challenge myself. I’m still exploring specific career paths, but I’m interested in high-level academic environments that will push me to grow.

I come from a very supportive family that values hard work, education, and perseverance. My experiences, both positive and challenging, have shaped me into someone who doesn’t quit easily and who is committed to continuing to grow as both an athlete and a person
